Initially focused on brick manufacturing, the Gálvez González family decided in 2002, driven by the then-difficult market conditions in the brick industry and perceived opportunities in the olive oil market, to forge a niche and develop a new production line for exceptionally high-quality olive oils. This followed the 1999 purchase of two olive farms, “La Casa del Agua” and “Los Juncales,” the former situated on the plains of the Jaén region and the latter nestled on the edge of the Sierra Morana mountains.

The Gálvez González family not only considered the idea of a new and unprecedented product when they embarked on the adventure of olive oil production, but also the notion that a new understanding of the juice extracted from green olives would soon develop.

La Familia was right. Today, they are the exclusive olive oil supplier for the Spanish court.
