La Berafatt is a very delicate, light to medium fruity extra virgin olive oil with an alluring aroma of white apples, green fruits, and tomato leaves, and a slightly sweet taste with a hint of thyme and a touch of marjoram. The bitterness is subtly present, and the peppery note is precise and warming.
Monocultivar di Carolea is a centuries-old olive variety, native to Calabria and now cultivated throughout southern Italy, with a majestic appearance. Carolea is medium-sized, very fleshy, and beautiful to behold. Because of its beauty, it is called "La Berafatt" (La Bella) in the typical Canosa dialect.
